I am NOT motivated to do much today. Don't know why cause it's beautiful outside. I got 2 loads of laundry done yesterday. Cleaned the shower yesterday and cleaned out my dresser drawers. Still have a bit of cleaning to do. I've done nothing but take a shower and dust the ceiling fan so far. Oh well, that's what Sundays are for.

I was hoping to hear from J this morning. The flight leaves Canada at 3:30, so I am sure they are at the airport by now. I am sure he won't be home til 3am or so. He will be so tired. I hope he sleeps on the plane and the ride home from Tampa.

Went to M's last night and got the cardstock for my Christmas cards. Also picked up a Christmas stamp set using my 40% off coupons.

Ok, on a side note, this episode of My First House is sooooooooo annoying. The lady on there needs to get a grip. You're in debt because you are buying a house, not charging up a credit card fool. I am seriously rolling my eyes right now. They aren't 18 yrs old. They have 3 kids are probably in their mid 30's.

Ok, off the soapbox. Gonna get off here and get stuff done.

~*~Last few days~*~

I hope J and his brothers are enjoying their last few days in Canada. It has gotten cool here, so I am sure it is freezing there.

Today I need to CLEAN. I've started laundry already and have LOTS more to do. I need to get the oil changed in the car, but that might wait till next weekend.

Last night I went to bingo. Had fun as usual, but didn't win, as usual. N won $30!! as usual.

The BFF got off on her trip and text me that she made it there. She was really nervous to fly. Hope she has fun! ;-)

Starting to think about Christmas shopping. I need to get H's gift bought and figure out what C & S are getting and get that shipped to them. I'm NOT waiting till the last minute like last yr. That was crazy and the shipping was outrageous.

We decided at work to do a lunch time Christmas party with just the few of us. No gifts this yr, just a dessert exchange. Great idea and that just saved me some money in gifts.

Well, gotta change the laundry!!

~*~Today sucked eggs~*~

Started off telling the BFF some things. Not sure how she took it. Things are off again. I know that she's confused, I don't blame her, but I just don't have the heart to tell her that I don't think "Mr Man" is the guy for her. They don't fit. Yeah, he's good to her and he's capable of paying for anything she ever wants, but, he's so different from her. At least she listened to me. I hope her trip tomorrow goes well. She'll be cold, that's for sure.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of B's death. Doc looked so tired and worn out today. I made sure I gave him a hug first thing this morning. The fam looked pretty good, but I am sure that at home, they are a mess. They all had tshirts with B's name and date of death and birth. I also noticed the boys had the #5 gold charms on. I be M bought them for this anniversary. So sad.....

On other sad news, found out that M is not doing well and they have told her to get all her affairs in order. The cancer has spread and her time is short. I've got to send them an email to let them know I'm thinking of them and to let me know if I can help them in any way.

HOA meeting tonight. It was a little somber with M being out. Not sure how much she will interact with us while her sister is sick. They all still want me to be president next yr. Not sure if I really want that. J thinks I'm crazy if I accept the nomination. Maybe I am just crazy.....

~*~Happy Veteran's Day~*~

My veteran is hopefully having a good time in Canada. I hope he's shot bullwinkle, as they call it, LOL.

Went to the derm this morning and got a clean bill of health. At least as far as my skin goes. I told her about the scars and how itchy they get and how bad they look. she said that she could injuect the spots with cortizone, so she did. That hurt like hell and so far, they still itch. We'll see if it ends up helping in the long run. I go back in 6 months.

Went to Michael's, the good M's after my appointment. I might have to change my mind about that store. I ended up getting Christmas paper.

Had a bitch fest right after that when I got home. I can't stand the negativity when it comes to N. No on seems to think that he will straighten up and realize that he won't be able to live on his own come 18. He talks tht thalk, but won't be able to walk the walk. What kid is going to let him mooch off of them and live for free? Not many I'm sure.

~*~Mid-week break~*~

Have tomorrow off for Veteran's Day. It would be nice to have every Wednesday off. Just when you are getting tired of working, you get a day of rest. Maybe one day.

Work was boring again. Thursday will be better since I'll have my dr back.

Can I just say that some people just don't learn. If someone tells you not to do something, then why do you continue to do it? Oh, I'm sorry, you don't do it when you are with patients. Instead, for the past two days, you have killed ALL of them as soon as they come in the door with your perfume! YUCK!! It came down to having to complain about the body spray/perfume being used by a certain someone after lunch. We all know what you are trying to cover up!! It's obvious!!

I keep wondering how J is doing in Canada. I hope he is feeling ok. He was catching a cold when he left.

Operation Repo is back on. Finally get to find out what happened to Lou on the last one. He had a heart attack on the last episode when they were repoing a car. Love this show!!!

I'm off to relax and stay up late watching tv. Something I wanted to do on Monday night, but couldn't cause one, I was tired, and two, I had to work.

NOT a good day. I sterilized instruments all day, what fun. One machine takes 2 1/2 hours to complete a cycle and the other is almost an hour. It's not enough work to keep you busy all day, but I made it. I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow, off Wednesday and Thursday Dr L will be back.

Dr R's cousin passed away this weekend. I feel bad for them right now. Thursday will be 3 years since they lost their oldest son. They are still healing!! They are THE most gracious family I have ever met. I love them to death and hate that they are going thru this. They don't deserve it. They have the biggest hearts too.
