So I've come up with the tag I'm going to make in the tag swap I am exstatic to be it. I've stumbled upon some great YouTubers and entered a tag swap for February. I hope I did a good job. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I just have to make 10 more, LOL.



I'm also STILL working on the BFF's Valentine's mini album. It's coming along pretty good. Went to Joann's this morning and picked up some fiber and charms and the DCWV Mariposa collection. The last one they had and it was the mat stack. I might start a mini album with that today. The papers are gorgeous!!!

So, we are prepared with tons of snacks for the Super Bowl. Go Colts!!

Got the cars washed this morning. That's a task I tell ya.

N is off the MuddiGras. Not too excited about him going and actually at first told him he couldn't go. Ended up changing our minds. I think he might have manipulated us, but oh well. I'm a push over and I told him that too.

Tonight we went to TGI Fridays for dinner. Yummo, we ate sooo much. Appetizer, meal and dessert for each of us. I am in love with the Pink Punk Cosmo!!!

So anyways, J has a buddy over and of course they constantly talk about work, ugh.
I'm working on a tag swap I am very excited to be in!!! Must get going.

Wow, I have been slacking in the blog dept and I hate it.

Wow, where have I been? Busy, that where!!

Work has been, well, work and crappy. Last week we were so busy with taking on more patients since Dr S is out. I wouldn't have been able to work like that the week before. I was exhausted every night last week. It was a four day week too, but still felt like we worked 5 days.

Martha's funeral is next Sat, and I am debating on whether to go to her's or Dr S's mom's. I have $90 collected so far for Martha's flowers. By Tuesday, I need all the money and have to find a flower shop to send them to the memorial. I hope to get some more money from other board members.

I want to work on some Valentine's Day tags I plan on giving out to friends this yr.
There is a tag swap I'd love to join, but not sure if I will have time. I also want to start a mini album. Want, want, want.

The boat is now gone, yahoo!! We now have both cars in the garage. My car is happy now that it's back in it's old spot. We cleaned up the front and back yards this weekend too. I hope the plants that were damaged in the freeze end up coming back. The yard is already started to green back up.

Gonna make a trip to Ulta today. That's it so far.

We have been super busy this weekend. BUT, I did find time to book our cruise in April. Woo hoo!! Going with the Green's, so that should be fun!! 7 glorious days on the Carnival Liberty. Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios Jamaica!!!!! Can't wait!!

Gonna head to Joann's and Target for some essentials!!

~*~full day today~*~

So I stayed at work all day today. I felt much better and decided to even drive my car too. I was much happier in my own car and not J's truck. I made sure to eat breakfast early this morning and not to wait till later in the morning. Stayed busy all day. Dr R called to check in and found out I was at work. He was absolutely pissed off with me that I came back to work already. My pain in pretty much just every so often and not a constant ache. I feel good and my dr said it was up to how I felt. That's what I told him, but he wasn't having it. Oh well!! He's to far away right now to strangle me, so I'm safe, LOL.

Had a nice lunch out with B and S and the BFF. I really want to go to Hurricane Grill tomorrow. Their wings are yummy!!

Went to the podiatrist this afternoon. Told him my foot felt a lot better since the cortizone shot. He said you can only get 3 in one spot forever. It causes muscle depletion and cause some soft tissue damage too. They wanted me to have these $40 orthotic inserts I need decide if I want to get. May just go get them tomorrow. They have a certain insert in the heal the dr says is just for you and changes how to walk on your foot.

J and N are test driving the boat with J's friend. It's a perfect day to be on the water. Cold still, but no wind!!

Went to M's finally last night. I picked up some 80% off Christmas items. Just 2 things, I didn't go nuts. Got some cute $1 stamp sets and I need to take back some smooch spritz as one of them doesn't spray.

Well, the dog is barking to come in, gotta go!!

~*~first day back~*~

So I only worked half a day today. By 10:30, I was ready to go. I was tired and actually really bored. I figured I could do more at home just watching tv and on the computer, LOL. I figured out my hours and how much vacay I have and I'll only be out 2 days of pay. Not too shabby.

This being president of the homeowner's association is for the birds. I have homeowner's knocking on my door with their problems. I really tried to be nice to this dude, but he's been a prick with our property manager's office. My first board meeting as pres is Thursday. I hope I do ok. There are so many issues/problems we have it's unreal.

I really want to go to M's tonight. I've been wanting to go there for about 3 days now!!! Maybe J will take me in the new car. I last rode in it thursday on the way home from the hospital, so I really didn't get a chance to enjoy it.



Not the greatest picture, but it's the best I could do with the boat still in the garage. J has a friend test driving the boat tomorrow after work. I really hope he buys it so I can park my poor car in the garage again. I hate having it in front of the house on the road. Not that our street is crazy, but you never know.

~*~One more day~*~

I decided I needed one more day off. I really want to get out of the house though. It's too cold and I really don't have a need to go out. I'd love to go to M's and shop, but that's not a good idea either.

Watched the movie The Ugly Truth. It was ok, not a blockbuster for sure.

Got sad news yesterday. My neighbor passed from breast cancer. Only last week they gave her 2-3 months to live. What happened to that? Only a week goes by and.... I HATE cancer.

Off to watch some more tv.

~*~I'm alive...~*~

Doing farely well post-op. Had a minor complication which kept me in overnight. Nothing that a abdominal binder and a 5lb sack of sand won't cure.

Took a shower and that was hard. The binding really helps to hold everything in. I have to wear in for another day and then I can dump it. I'll be resting and taking it easy for the next few days. I won't rush going back to work at all.

So, my appendix was the only thing he took out. The ovary looked fine, so he opted to save it. I just hope and pray that this solves my pain. Only time will tell.

Tomorrow is the big day. I'm a little nervous as usual. Now I'm drinking that yucky stuff to make you, um well, GO!! So far, nothing, but I really haven't downed buy one big glass of it. The antibiotics I took this morning did a number on my stomach. I had the worst cramps yuck!!

So, tomorrow at 1pm, I'm out, literally, LOL!!

~*~Monday.....~*~

So I didn't mention New Year's Eve on my last post. We went to the Hilton oceanside as planned and had a blast. We got there at 7pm to check in and get your table. Basically it's first come, first serve to sit where you want. The tables sit 10 people each. The night was sold out. They had room for 250 people. The dance floor was small, but we managed to fit. The food was excellent. We had tiger shrimp and filet with bernaise sauce. A salad to start then a sorbet followed by dinner and then chocolate/vanilla mousse for dessert.

Dinner was served at 8:30 so we had to sit and wait for awhile. We got drinks and just sat and talked and met our table mates. After dinner was more drinks, LOL and dancing. By midnight, we were HOT, literally. It was hot in there. At 12:30am G was ready to head out so we made it back home safely. We really had a lot of fun!! Nice way to ring in the new yr.

Got my RX's today. One an antibiotic and the other is a huge 4000ml container with this poweder I have to mix with water and somehow choke down tomorrow after work. Then the fun begins, NOT!! I am so ready for all of this to be over.

Well, time for dinner.

~*~What a weekend!!~*~

So Saturday, J decided he wants to go look at the Nissan 370Z. I have admired this car for awhile now. Don't get me wrong, I am and always will be a diehard Mustang fan. I love my car...That being said, we have a new member of the family. A silver 2009 370Z with black leather/suede interior. It is a sweet ride. It is currently in the garage nice and warm and my Mustang is on the street freezing. The weather has gotten frigid in Florida. It will be in the 30's at night and highs in the high 50's, YUCK!!

So anyways, J is stoked about his new toy. His biggest problem will be weather to drive his truck or new sports car to work. ::Insert eyeroll here:: We took it to Vero Beach this afternoon to the Coach outlet. I got a wristlet. It's a bigger one with a closure at the top, not the zipper. It came to $41 with tax. Great deal as always there. They said today was the last day of the 20% off your entire purchase promo.

We also had to put in a new kitchen faucet today. It was a pain in the ass getting the old one off. It started leaking yesterday and was making a HUGE mess. Our choices were limited with having a white sink, but we found another Moen, like the brand we had, but it's the pull out sprayer. I want to get the sink dispenser now so we don't have a sprayer that doesn't work on the side.

We also put on a new toilet seat and cover in the guest bathroom. Nothing was really wrong with it, except the paint was coming off and MOM didn't like it. For $10 bucks, and easy fix.

Well, off to work for 2 days then surgery on Wednesday. I'm looking forward to getting rid of the pain, but not the procedure itself.
