NOT a good day. I sterilized instruments all day, what fun. One machine takes 2 1/2 hours to complete a cycle and the other is almost an hour. It's not enough work to keep you busy all day, but I made it. I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow, off Wednesday and Thursday Dr L will be back.

Dr R's cousin passed away this weekend. I feel bad for them right now. Thursday will be 3 years since they lost their oldest son. They are still healing!! They are THE most gracious family I have ever met. I love them to death and hate that they are going thru this. They don't deserve it. They have the biggest hearts too.

Didn't do a whole lot yesterday. It was a nice and relaxing day. S the Avon lady came over to drop off our latest order. I'm thinking of giving her their version of bare minerals that I bought a few weeks ago. I'm not liking it and the shade it too dark and it has sparkly stuff in it.

Watched the movie The Women. Good movie with a bunch of great actresses. I got sucked into Lifetime Movie Network towards the end of the night. There was an Ann Rule book made into a movie. I caught the tale end of it. The next one had Lauren Holly in it where she becomes her own private investigator to find out if her husband is cheating on her. I ended up not watching that one towards the end.

Today we've had excitement. We got a Code Red call that the Taco Bell down the street from us was robbed this morning. The suspect got away on foot down the street we live off of. No call back saying they caught the person, so that makes me uneasy.

Went shopping this afternoon. I wish I had more money. So does everyone I'm sure. Stopped at Ulta first. I could spend some serious money in that store. I got my Bare Minerals that I have been trying to string along until I could get to Ulta. Saw a couple other things there, but maybe I can hint for a gift certificate for Christmas.

Went to Michael's next door. The coupon I had was for next week, darn. I enede up putting back the stamp pad and Christmas stamps I wanted. I figured I can always come back, and with the right coupon. Mom bought a cute Christmas card set you put together. Some of the other card kits we've seen have been cheesy. This is a cute kit!!!

Then off to Target!! I love that shopping area! It's so convienient with fast food over there too if you get hungry from spending too much money.

Forgot that we started off at Barnes and Noble. Found an Ann Rule book that I hadn't read yet. She has a new one coming out this month. I'll wait till it comes out in paperback. Now I have some new reading material!!! So, we've been to a bunch of stores today. It's nice outside, but too windy. The humidity is stil gone, so that's a treat.

Well, gonna watch a movie and eat some cookies I just baked!!

Oh, and Jov called last night and said the guys made it safely to Canada. It was one last call out while they had reception. Hope they all shoot a big one.

J left this morning at 2:30 AM!!! I hope he has everything. It was a challenge getting his suitcase packed on Thursday night. We'll see if he can get it all back in for the trip home. I hope his bag wasn't over the weight limit either. They should be in Minneapolis now and leaving for Regina soon. There is no cell phone reception where they are going, so I won't talk to him until next Sunday when they land.

The weather here has turned nice. Not too cold, but the humidity is low and it's in the mid 70's. I plan on taking it easy this weekend. Gonna do some shopping either today or tomorrow.

I finished O's album and gave it to her yesterday. She loved it. I was able to take pictures of it at work, since I forgot too. She had a good turn out for her going away lunch.

Well, off to do something, or maybe just nothing. Awww, the weekend!!

Why must this kid cause me so much grief. He is making up for all of those yrs as a little one where he was a well behaved boy!! I'm having to make tough parenting decisions so he learns. I just snuffed out a trip to Gainsville he wanted to make this weekend. It didn't sit right with me and he did NOT have a good visit with Dr Duncan!! He has one month to get it together and then Dr D will give him this new pump sensor. Hoping our insurance will pick this up. It will test his blood sugar over 1000 times a day.

Work was interesting. I am still finishing up O's album. I have 8 more pages. I WILL finish Thursday night. Tomorrow is hair cut day!!!

~*~Happy Halloween/Happy Birthday~*~

Today is C's birthday. I already wished him HB last night. He text me about Daughtry singing at the Thanksgiving Day game at Cowboy's stadium. He was late to the party on that one. I had read about it on Facebook earlier.

Have to get out to Sam's Club today to get some candy. We ate what we bought about 2 weeks ago!!

Was at the mall last night with the BFF and her girls. Got a great deal on a pair of jeans at Aeropastale. $5.99 for them and I got a shirt for $5.99 and BFF bought me a belt and a shirt. I love that store.

Work was ok. Not much going on since it was Wingman Day. Didn't start off that good with a commander's call we were watching on tv in the lobby. There was a guest speaker who was going to talk to us about rape. When she started talking, by heart started beating so fast and my knees were shaking. She told everyone that was there at the base theater that this was there one chance to leave before she got started if it was going to be hard for them to listen to. I took that opportunity to leave rather quickly. J came after me to check on me and to sit with me until she was done. She must have talked for an hour. YUCK!! So, not everyone knew what had happened to A, so I my B had explained to Dr R why I wasn't there. He felt so bad, but I just had not talked to him about that whole situation.

So, we went shopping at lunch. We got some extra time, so took advantage of it. Found my mom a Steelers t shirt and bought it for her.

J will be home tomorrow. He sounded bummed last night on the phone. I am sure he was thinking about his dad yesterday. He usually doesn't talk about him anymore, but I am sure his brother brought him up yesterday. I can't believe it has been 3 years sinced he passed.

ME and N ended up going to the movies Thursday night. He got back around 7:20 and said lets go. The movie was good. I think there could be another one, but they did end the whole story line. Good movie, gorrey, but good!!!

Well, off to start on O's album. Yep, start!! I'm such a procrastinator.

~*~Disappointed~*~

I planned on taking N to the movies tonight to watch Saw 6, but he wanted to go out with his friends. One of them is leaving for the Marines on Tuesday, so I guess I understand.

Work was busy. No drama today, can you believe it??? We took O out for lunch today. Tomorrow is her last day then she leaves for Turkey next Friday. We'll have something else for her next week.

Going to blurf then work on O's album.

I got thru it and it was a good day. Today was the 1 yr anniverary of dad's death. I was sad about it last night and cried, but today, I was good. I guess I didn't think about it much and I was super busy at work.

BIG drama this morning. Wow, what a huge mistake. It nailed the coffin shut for sure, LOL.

The lunch today was good and we had tons of fun playing Deal Or No Deal and Guesstures. Funny stuff!!! We'll see what tomorrow brings. Gotta get working on the album for O.
